Honestly? Right now, we fund it ourselves. As a founder-led 501(c)(3), FG Kids directly sponsors the core program — the curriculum, the student manuals, and the instruction — so this work can start now, not “someday.” These kids get this program regardless.
To grow it — more labs, more students, after-school sessions and field trips — we're actively pursuing grants and school-partner funding streams like CTE and Community Partnership School programs. Nothing there is secured yet; it's the work ahead of us. That's exactly where community support makes the difference: every gift helps us reach the next classroom sooner, and builds the track record that unlocks the bigger funding. If you believe in this, a donation moves it forward.
Our curriculum is grounded in peer-reviewed nutrition science and mapped to the Nutrition Self-Efficacy (NSE) framework, with learning outcomes designed to align with CTE culinary arts pathways.
Individual donations, school and corporate partnerships, and spreading the word all help. Visit our Donate page for one-time or recurring giving options.
Our pilot partnership is with Evans High School in Central Florida, integrated directly within their established Culinary Arts CTE program.
